This program is a way to actively engage our team in identifying and eliminating safety hazards before they can become serious problems.
How the Safety Incentive Program Works
Every employee at Southern Machinery Company has the opportunity to participate in the Safety Incentive Program. The concept is simple but powerful: if an employee notices a safety-related issue on campus, they can take action to fix it or develop a plan to have it resolved. After addressing the issue, they submit a Safety Incentive Program Form, detailing their solution and the steps taken to improve workplace safety. Each submission enters the employee into a drawing for the Grand Prize Safety Award—a $5,000 vacation package to the destination of their choice!
